This is my first post to Townhall.com. Hi, and thanks to all of you who participate.
I wanted to share my impression that on Oct., 21, 2007, on Howard
Kurtz's CNN
Sunday show "Reliable Sources", I noticed that Debra Saunders, of the
San Francisco Chronicle, was fair. I had to replay the clip on my
DVR because I was so surprised to hear it. It was my impression
that she implied that there was an unfair double standard in the media:
It's ok when the 'other side' does it (referring to people on the left
who leak information) but when the Bush folks do it, it's considered
unfair. I agree with Debra, but I'm so used to hearing continual
leftist bias in
the news media every day (with a few exceptions of course); but I had
to mention that it was something nice to hear for a change.
